We are one Collibra. We work, learn and have fun together. On Family Day we emulated this core value by inviting all Collibrians to bring their families to work. We pride ourselves on cultivating an authentic and healthy culture. We want our employees to be themselves and we appreciate each employee for who they are. Family Day provided the perfect environment for Collibrians to truly bring their full selves to work, while also giving our employees an opportunity to introduce their loved ones and family members to our culture here at Collibra.
Family Day was a huge success with 92 employees around the world participating in the event. 300 guests visited our offices in New York, Brussels and Wroclaw for food, drinks and activities. In our New York office, we hosted a full lunch, as well as family-friendly activities such as a caricaturist, a photobooth and Collibra coloring books. In Wroclaw and Brussels, we organized a dinner time happy hour, which included interactive children’s activities, arts and crafts, and a “magic mirror” photobooth. Also, in all locations, we gave a short presentation on the growth and future of Collibra. This presentation demonstrated to families all the hard work that their loved ones do every day to make an impact at Collibra.
Employee engagement is crucial to our company. We strive to create a culture where employees feel united as one. Family Day achieved this goal by providing an environment for employees to interact with both their “work families” and their loved ones. As one Collibra employee stated, Family Day made them proud to be a Collibrian:
“This was the best day ever for my daughter. She was exposed to different people, roles and environments. We used this time to teach her about eye contact, being polite and shaking hands. 11 years old is a pivotal time in a kid’s life. The fact that I got to share this with her makes me so proud to work at Collibra. I am so glad we went. We will be back next year.”
