Collibra is FedRAMP Authorized

No one takes security more seriously than the government. Collibra takes data protection and security seriously, and that’s why so many government agencies around the world already trust Collibra to meet standards for privacy, reliability, and compliance.

In order to better support the Data Citizens community, we’re proud to announce that Collibra has been authorized as a Moderate Impact Cloud Service Provider under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) by the Tennessee Valley Authority.

By achieving the FedRAMP Moderate certification, Collibra is now officially recognized by the US Government for meeting some of the most stringent cloud security requirements in government today. This certification is a testament to Collibra’s ability to empower federal agencies to securely unlock the value of their data and achieve Data Intelligence.

What is FedRAMP?

FedRAMP is an initiative by the US federal government that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. This certification dramatically speeds up the security approval process within federal agencies. Due to the rigorous security requirements, many other government entities — including state, local and international governments — also prefer to work with authorized vendors.

Data Intelligence you can trust

Collibra’s FedRAMP authorization means that government agencies will now be able to quickly and securely access Collibra in a cloud environment. As an open, extensible and API-first platform, Collibra can support a wide range of use cases and applications. With Collibra, federal agencies are empowered to increase access to the data they have, collaborate with their data in one centralized location, accelerate data-driven decision making and ultimately improve citizen-facing services.

Additionally, Collibra can help federal agencies act on the Foundations for Evidence-Based Policymaking Act (FEPA). By leveraging Collibra’s Data Intelligence capabilities, agencies will not only be able to move faster to meet FEPA requirements but will also be able to execute in the true spirit of FEPA by using data as a strategic asset. As more government entities aim to modernize processes and meet the necessary requirements to innovate with technologies like AI and ML, Collibra can ensure that the data they use is the most trusted data available.

Built for the future

Collibra’s cloud-based platform is built for both today’s digital transformation and the data challenges of tomorrow. Our platform improves over time, with no need to download or install updates. We also incorporate privacy by design principles into all product development and business practices. Security is at the core of everything we do, and federal agencies will be able to use Collibra in the cloud with confidence.
