Global Alliances Director, Snowflake

Joining Collibra’s Sales team as a Global Alliances Director, Snowflake

We're looking for a talented Global Alliances Director, who will be responsible for leading a strategic technology partnership with Snowflake globally. This is a highly collaborative role as you will be leading the partnership globally for one of Collibra’s strategic technical partnerships across all aspects of the partnership – both GTM and technical. You will work across Collibra marketing, customer success, product management and sales teams to manage, develop to successfully develop the Snowflake partnership.

Global Alliances Director at Collibra are responsible for:

Never a dull moment! You’ll be the primary point of contact to build a successful technology partnership. Some examples of the things you’ll be doing:

  • You will lead the overall relationship with one of Collibra’s strategic technology partnerships globally.
  • You will develop relationships with the field sales and strategic technology partner(s); supporting partner activities that identify new business, expand existing business or support renewals of existing customers. 
  • Collibra point of contact strategic technology partnership – help develop our relationships, work to improve Collibra technical skill, as well as identify and prioritize sales/marketing activities
  • Collaborate with strategic technology partner(s) to identify target accounts, joint account mapping, account planning, QBR's, defining and positioning our solutions, joint pipeline reviews and forecasting
  • Support sales activities, marketing activities, webcasts, roadshows, and contract negotiations.

You have:

  • You have 10+ years of software experience with a proven track record in managing, developing, and building technology partnerships
  • Experience in driving sales with partners, enabling partners for success and supporting partner marketing activities
  • Prior experience with SaaS solutions in data governance, data management, analytics or business intelligence preferred
  • Prior experience with working with DataWarehouse, Analytics, ETL, Big Data industry vendors
  • A bachelor's degree with a technical or business focus or equivalent work experience

You are: 

  • Comfortable talking across all levels of an organization and are able to influence executive stakeholders, both internally and externally, to achieve goals. Comfortable presenting to partners, customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Able to communicate effectively  with technical and non-technical staff across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supportive and collaborative across all parts of an organization  and able to adapt and engage across multiple topics, teams, customers, and partners
  • Interested in data and being part of a team that is focused on importance of data for our customers
  • Familiar with the need for data management and/or data governance for larger organizations
  • Experience working with Snowflake as a partner, consultant or in prior employment is a PLUS.

Measures of success: 

  • Engaging with Collibra sales team and sales leadership to align and engaged sales teams from technology partner(s).
  • Working with your strategic technology partner(s) to support Collibra customers and prospects
  • Prioritizing target accounts and driving sales activity with strategic technology partner(s).

Compensation for this role

The standard base salary range for this position is $184,000.00 - $253,000.00 per year. This position is eligible for commission. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.

In addition to base salary, we offer equity ownership at every level, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.
