Go-To-Market Solutions Architect

Joining Collibra’s IT Enterprise Applications Team 

The IT Enterprise Applications team partners with Collibra’s business stakeholders to configure, optimize, and implement Corporate Cloud Applications, deliver an integration strategy with a strong investment around Salesforce and other SaaS applications, and provide on-going support of those applications/systems. 

The GTM architect will have the opportunity to demonstrate & provide technical skills to help shape strategy, architecture, design, and implementation of scalable GTM solutions. This role will report into the Sr. Director of Enterprise Applications.


The Go-To-Market Architect at Collibra will be responsible for:  

  • Partner with Business stakeholders and provide Sales Cloud and CPQ platform expertise in designing and implementing technology solutions that supports our GTM strategy. 
  • Responsible for designing and executing best possible solutions for the internal customers.
  • Lead the technical design and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with business partners and systems analysts in defining functional and technical requirements in the analysis and design of the solution.
  • Drive and lead end-to-end solutioning of GTM platform implementation and rollouts, contribute thought leadership on POCs, solutions, and best practices in technical design and implementations.
  • Act as a technical guide who influences, innovates, and builds for scale, security, usability, and governance and review, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations to leadership.
  • Responsible for hands-on development of key features, performing code reviews for the team and ensuring quality.
  • Be a technical Evangelist for the Salesforce org and proactively identify Technical debt and improvements.
  • Mentor and guide both junior and established Salesforce developers.

You have:

  • 7+ years of  extensive Salesforce architect/technical lead. 
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, LWC, triggers, batch Apex, Salesforce APIs and Salesforce configuration.
  • 3+ years of team leadership and people management experience.
  • Experience with advising team members on how to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Conga, Financial force or similar tools will be a big plus.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications using SOAP, REST, BULK APIs.

  • Good at facilitating structured meetings, gaining advocacy, driving decisions, and promoting positive change.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to create structure for prioritization of work across teams.
  • Able to collaborate with and coordinate a mix of business and IT professionals that includes security admins, architects, analysts and engineers.
  • Able to build a high-quality team from scratch and create an inspiring, collaborative environment with an open communication culture.
  • Able to “see the big picture” across people, process, data and systems and execute real solutions that scale.

Measures of success:

  • Within your first month, you will understand Collibra’s application portfolio, team priorities/initiatives and meet with business stakeholders.
  • Within your third month, you will identify existing technical debt and provide recommendations per Salesforce, CPQ best practices. 
  • Within your sixth month, you will be defining strategy for key Salesforce/CPQ initiatives, managing the change request process, planning a resource plan to scale the team.

Compensation for this role 

The standard base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $209,000 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.

In addition to base salary, we offer equity ownership at every level, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.
