Senior Infrastructure Engineer - GCP

Joining Collibra’s Infrastructure Engineering team:

  • The Infrastructure Engineering team is responsible for enabling product teams with Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery  
  • As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will help to deliver the tools and the platform, and enable partner teams (Engineering, Product, Security, Compliance, etc.) by providing documentation,  guidance, training, support, tooling, and self-service options 
  • In a broader sense, you will help maintain the engineering ecosystem

Senior Infrastructure Engineers at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Delivering and Integrating new technologies into new and existing Infrastructure through automation and IaC 
  • Building resilience into Infrastructure solutions and thriving in defining everything-as-code
  • Developing processes and procedure documentation for new and existing Infrastructure
  • Coordinating with architecture, security and engineering teams to deliver Infrastructure platforms
  • Maintaining infrastructure platforms and solutions 

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience as an engineer delivering IaC solutions
  • Extensive working experience in GCP and a familiarity with other Cloud Providers (AWS, Azure)
  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience with infrastructure as code automation and config management (Go, Terraform, Ansible, JFrog)
  • Working knowledge of K8’s, S3, Service Mesh (Istio, Traefik) 
  • Strong analytical and Agile mindset familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies

You Are:

  • An analytical problem solver, able to manage ambiguity within complex systems
  • An independent and well organized, with the ability to work in small and large teams
  • Detail oriented, able to track multiple dependencies within complex systems
  • B.Sc./ M.Sc. graduate in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Reporting to Collibra’s Director, Infrastructure Engineering measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will absorb fundamental knowledge about Collibra processes/tools used within Infrastructure Engineering
  • Within your third month, you will be a contributing member of the Infrastructure Engineering team
  • Within your sixth month, you will have a full understanding of all the Infrastructure solutions and have the ability to build and maintain current and new infrastructure
