Manager, Curriculum and Instructional Design
Meeting your future team:
The Manager, Curriculum and Instructional Design is responsible for managing, researching, enabling, implementing, and supporting the innovative use of instructional design, data, and technologies that accelerate Collibra's strategy to enable our customers. You will lead a team of curriculum developers and instructional designers responsible for the analysis, design, and content development of training solutions designed to build the knowledge, skills, and abilities of our customers so they can more effectively use the Collibra platform.
Manager, Curriculum and Instructional Design at Collibra is responsible for:
- Managing the project life cycle including scope, concept, build, execution, and user experience for identified development solutions, including (but not limited to): LMS, virtual learning environments, and metrics.
- Leading the Instructional Design and Curriculum Development team to set strategic goals with measurable outcomes of new and existing learning solutions
- Partnering with Subject Matter Experts to identify goals, audience, and objectives; creating course outlines, storyboards, and scripts that meet learning objectives
- Serving as a strategic partner to business segments, proactively assessing customer enablement needs and designing customized solutions
- Managing and develop team members by establishing annual performance goals, allocating resources, assessing annual performance, conducting coaching conversations, providing feedback and determining individual merit, and/or promotional increases
You Have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Performance Technology, Communications, Journalism, or related field or equivalent work experience preferred
- 5-7 years experience in Learning and Development and/or Talent Management or related field desired
- 2-3 years experience leading a team desired
- Advanced knowledge of learning management systems
- Knowledge and background in content development and instructional design
You Are:
- Able to accommodate different learning styles and account for learner modality preferences in design
- Able to manage multiple resources, timelines, milestones, and objectives
- Experienced in developing online training and performance improvement materials using e-Learning authoring tools
- Proven successful in working on and delivering multiple initiatives
Measuring Success:
- Within your first month, you will meet the team and cross-functional partners and understand our current Collibra University environment and curriculum roadmap.
- Within your third month, you will manage to the curriculum roadmap and provide any corrections necessary based on the learnings from the first few months.
- Within your sixth month, you will fully own the curriculum roadmap and begin planning for the upcoming year including Collibra University advancements, organizational growth and curriculum development plans.
