The Education Engineer will support the development and delivery of onboarding and ongoing education programs for our product and engineering team.

The Technical Enablement team is responsible for onboarding, ongoing education and change management support for Collibra’s product and engineering teams. Our goal is to provide education through live and self-paced programs that keep our product and engineering teams up to date on the latest technologies, software, applications and processes that Collibra is implementing. • Collaborate with leaders in Enablement Managers to identify business and technical requirements, determine optimal approaches to creating learning experiences, and lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement those experiences.
  • Maintain credibility with our product and engineering colleagues by staying current in relevant software technical disciplines.
  • Collaborate with Technical Enablement to drive the proper application of technology platforms and learning management systems to deploy, manage and track software technology training.

You Have:

  • Demonstrated ability to range across multiple engineering disciplines and to acquire new skills as needed, potentially in short timeframes and through self-directed learning.
  • Demonstrated passion for learning and development, evidenced in part by a strong history of personal learning and development efforts.
  • Experience developing learning programs for others and delivering education to software engineers and other technical colleagues
  • Strong relationship management skills with demonstrated ability to effectively partner with cross functional colleagues and others across several functions.

You Are:

  • Highly collaborative and empathetic
  • A change agent who is comfortable operating in a growth environment
  • Focused on impact, through enabling the success of others with a team mentality
  • An excellent communicator and lifetime learner
  • A problem solver, excited by the opportunity to create and influence a developing organization

Measuring Success:

  • Within your first month, familiarized yourself with the product & engineering organization and our tech stack
  • Within your third month, facilitating and reviewing our engineering onboarding program along with implementing proposed changes to the program
  • Within your sixth month, you will have fully updated the onboarding program, supported the onboarding of another Educational Engineer and developed ongoing education programs
