How you'll make an impact at Collibra:

Collibra’s Corp IT is building a Business Innovation Office (BIO) to be a true business partner with all cross-functional departments.  BIO will bring core PMO best practices as well as a strategic focus to ensure the enterprise achieves scalability, productivity, and growth via cloud-based, SaaS technologies.  As a member of the BIO PMO, the Project Manager will have the opportunity to partner with key business owners at Collibra to manage high-visibility IT projects and broker solutions that fulfill business needs and technical requirements. Being a trusted IT/business liaison, creating high-quality deliverables, and delivering solutions through a defined project lifecycle are central to this position.

A day in the life of an IT Project Manager at Collibra:

You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Build collaborative relationships with Collibra stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Product, et al) to jointly deliver IT projects that meet the business’ need for scale, ease-of-use, and value
  • Lead IT implementation, optimization, and/or integration projects on Saas/cloud-based business systems (e.g., Salesforce, Netsuite, ServiceNow, Okta) 
  • Manage IT project lifecycle from requirements definition to build/config, test, train, deploy and training phases 
  • Own project scope, workplan, communications, and governance deliverables
  • Assist stakeholders in defining business cases and project budgets 
  • Facilitate current and future state process analyses to identify functional gaps and opportunities for improvement 
  • Document business requirements and functional design specs and deliver to IT developers
  • Prepare test plans and test scripts, and coordinate UAT and issue/bug tracking
  • Create documentation for end user training and support

You Have:

  • Business Process Mapping, Business Problem Analysis, and Requirements Definition
  • Experience applying standard Project Management frameworks (e.g., PMBOK) and Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Agile)
  • Cross-functional facilitation skills to proactively drive decisions and advocate for change 
  • Manage and motivate teams with empathy and persuasive skills 
  • Comfortable bringing structure and clarity to ambiguous situations
  • Unify global stakeholders and 3rd-parties and foster collaboration
  • Liaise between business and technical teams to “translate” or bridge the gap and drive mutually agreeable decisions
  • Clearly communicate project task owners and accountability 
  • Comfortable in a high-growth environment and leading change in a forward-thinking, global enterprise

Your Education and Experience:

  • At least 5-8 years’ work experience in IT Project Management required
  • Experience with Lead-to-Cash cloud/SaaS platforms - Salesforce Sales Cloud, SaleforceCPQ, NetSuite, Conga or other CLM apps
  • Other Saas apps are a plus (e.g., Okta, ServiceNow, Workday HCM, Marketo)
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree required 
  • Management Consulting experience is a big plus 
  • Project Management (PMP) Certification, a plus
