Collibra seeks an innovative, agile, data-oriented Senior People Partner (HRBP) who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced global company. This critical, individual contributor role will partner with our businesses to design and execute strategies for how we organize, staff, develop, motivate and retain our most valuable asset, our employees.

A day in the life of a Senior People Partner (HRBP) at Collibra:

You’ll be reporting directly to the VP, People, and will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Build a strategic partner relationship with our Field teams’ senior leadership and management to develop solutions, in partnership with our COEs, for their business objectives and challenges, navigating change management and optimizing the organizational design with the right people in the right roles 
  • Advise on people growth strategies and initiatives to ensure retention and growth of high potential employees as well as developing rigor around performance management and ongoing topgrading for those employees who may not be performing at optimal levels
  • Deliver mind-blowing [internal] customer experiences for our staff as you sherpa employees through their lifecycle at Collibra including objective alignment, merit and incentive, promotions and internal movements.  Note: many of these frameworks still are being built by the Talent Management and Total Rewards teams and will require a partner with the agility to quickly pivot and execute new programs
  • Align with our Talent Acquisition Partners to craft roles based on market availability and business needs, partner to build assessments to evaluate competencies and skills and enhance the overall employment brand to drive top talent to join us
  • Mitigate risk by proactively aligning compliance with the country/state requirements and handling internal employee relations issues as the primary point of contact for all employee relations issues in teams you support
  • Ideating, creating and improving talent initiatives in a rapidly changing and occasionally ambiguous environment

You Have:

  • HR business partner experience supporting multiple senior leaders and management in a Field (optimally sales) organization at evolving/growing/changing tech companies
  • Knowledge of and commitment to HR best practices in employee retention, compensation and benefits management, conflict resolution, program implementation and employment law (including but not limited to ADA, FLSA, and FMLA); global HR laws not as critical but the ability to learn/understand them is important
  • Exceptional instincts/experiences leveraging HR programs to drive business outcomes and financial results, including collaborating with FP&A (Some companies might call this a required Masters or “MBA”; we need someone who understands business and don’t care where you learned it!)
  • Experience successfully challenging an organizational approach with a solution driven mindset that delivers ROI-driven improvements to organization design, job profiles, compensation structures and other identified areas of opportunities 
  • Tech-savviness including ability to leverage (learn, if necessary) collaboration tools including Google Sheets and Slack as well as navigate core HR Systems (Workday, Betterworks, Greenhouse) 
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make recommendations by using judgment that is consistent with company culture as well as standards, practices, policies, procedures or governing law
