As a PreSales Engineer at Collibra, you will be responsible for the functional and technical aspects of the sales cycle. You will be an essential part of the sales organization and will be a key player in our sales engagements.


You’ll be reporting into the head of PreSales for EMEA and will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Preparing and delivering the highest quality product presentations and demonstrations, both on site and remotely
  • Helping our prospects and customers to understand how Collibra can enable their business to derive the full business value from their data
  • Providing assistance to the sales organization around product capabilities and helping to qualify sales opportunities
  • Identifying, evaluating and recommending opportunities to engage in a proof of concept (POC) exercise with a prospect
  • Preparing and delivering end to end POCs
  • Preparing and providing input to RFX responses
  • Communicating with product teams to help with product direction and to stay current on product developments 


You have…

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years experience working in a PreSales role selling enterprise applications software
  • Experience with data management in an area such as data quality, master data, data analytics, visualization, BI or equivalent
  • Knowledgeable in the challenges faced by organisations as they seek to derive value from their data
  • Proven track record of demonstrating software solutions and executing successful proof of concept plans to enterprise prospects
