How you'll make an impact at Collibra:

As our Solution Architect, you will facilitate the successful implementation of Collibra with our customers, increase product adoption, and share best practices in data governance.

A day in the life of a Solution Architect at Collibra:

You’ll be reporting directly to the EMEA Professional Services Director, and will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Defining an operating model specific to the customer needs and organisation; this operating model will explain how the data is governed in the organisation, how users can search/propose/create/review/archive assets, how users can raise the issues related to the data and how they can solve them etc.
  • Configuration of the Collibra solution, which can entail following components: business glossary, data dictionary, lineage, data catalog, dashboards, business process workflows, reference/master data.
  • Delivery of POC's, MVP's (Minimum Viable Products) and end-to-end implementations
  • Provision of best practice implementation advice on the Collibra solutions
  • Acting as the first point-of-contact from Collibra during the implementation
  • Running of workshops, functional trainings and configuration hackathons during the implementation
  • Working closely with the Professional Services Solution Engineer(s) who will handle the more technical tasks such as developing of system integrations
  • Working closely with the customer Business & IT teams
  • Supporting the customer's program and project management with best practices from Collibra's implementation framework
  • Building and maintaining templates which can be used during the implementations of our Professional Services team
  • Analysis of the technology landscape of our customers and come up with a recommended architecture where Collibra fits in

You Have:

  • 7+ years of overall working experience, of which 3+ years are relevant and recent
  • Experience working on the intersection between business and IT
  • IT education background or equivalent through working experience
  • Experience with data governance, data management, big data, data lake, data privacy (e.g. GDPR), business glossaries, data dictionaries, data catalog
  • Experience with implementing data governance use cases such as customer360, BI, analytics, data lake governance, BSBS239, IFRS17, BIRD, master data management (MDM), Solvency2, IFRS9, cybersecurity, technology register, MAS610, EFS
  • Experience with other Data Governance or Catalog solutions such as Ab Initio, Alation, Alex, Backoffice Associates, Datum, IBM Infosphere IGC, Diaku, Erwin, Informatica Axon
  • Experience running customer workshops
  • Knowledge of data privacy (e.g. GDPR)
  • Project Management skills
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure
  • Experience with Development Mulesoft integrations
  • An understanding of AWS/GCP/Azure technologies
  • An understanding of Tableau/Denodo/Qlick technologies
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German
  • Willingness to travel
