About Justin: As Synchrony’s Chief Data Officer, Justin is responsible for the design and build of the overall enterprise data strategy and data governance program. As CDO, Justin sets standards for how data is defined, measured, made available for business processes (ranging from analytics to regulatory reporting) and governed through its lifecycle in support of customers and clients. Data helps power innovation and mitigate risk.
Prior to joining Synchrony, Justin was Executive Director at Ernst & Young where he served as the practice lead for Data Governance. In this role, Justin provided strategic advisory services to other CDOs creating firmwide data governance strategies. Earlier in his career, he managed Standard & Poor’s reference and master data services for its Ratings Services division and brings over 30 years
