Uniper rolled out Collibra and saw strong early interest. But due to organizational realignment and competing priorities, usage plateaued. Many saw governance as a burden, and opening another platform to check who owns a dataset or whether it’s up to date was one step too many. So Uniper moved governance to where people already spend their day: Microsoft AI Copilot. Using Collibra’s MCP server, Collibra is now open to the whole company with the new Uniper Data Governance Buddy, helping answer questions about ownership, freshness and data quality. Join Uniper's Gabriele Roggero, and Spryfox’s Maximilian Walther, as they cover how they built it, what changed for users, and what’s next for their seamless governance journey.

Finding the right data used to mean a scavenger hunt: broad permissions granted once, rarely revisited, and little clarity on what was actually trustworthy to use.

Ákos Pocsai, Product Owner at OTP Bank, will share how OTP Hungary turned this around by building a self-service data marketplace in Collibra, a curated shopping experience where business users can browse and request certified tables with confidence that governance and data quality are already built in. He'll walk through the approval model behind it, including how line managers and data owners are brought in automatically when sensitive data is involved, and how the marketplace keeps data assets current rather than letting access sit unreviewed indefinitely. Ákos will close with where OTP Hungary is headed next: expanding from table-level offerings toward full data products in the marketplace, making trusted data easier to discover and use across the bank.
