Joining Collibra’s marketing team
Marketing at Collibra is built on a simple belief: when brand, product marketing, growth and demand, customer marketing, and GTM enablement work as one, the business wins. As our Senior, Director, Brand and PR, you won't be operating in a silo — you'll be a central voice in a team that's deeply collaborative by design, where brand strategy shapes and is shaped by every function around it.
Our customers sit at the center of everything we do. They inspire our messaging, anchor our campaigns, and keep us honest. You'll work alongside marketers who share that obsession and who understand that a strong, coherent brand isn't decoration, it's the foundation that makes every other motion more effective.
This is a role for someone ready to plant a flag. We're at an inflection point: a category worth owning, a product worth championing, and a team ready to do the most ambitious work of their careers. We're looking for the visionary leader who will define how the world perceives Collibra in the AI era for years to come.
This is a hybrid role based in our Raleigh office. Our hybrid model means you’ll work from the office at least two days each week. This setup helps us stay connected, work more closely together, and keep making progress as a team.

As the Senior Director, Brand and PR, you own the vision, goals, and roadmap for our market identity, ensuring it aligns directly with broader revenue objectives.

You'll keep a sharp eye on the competitive landscape and the broader tech world, bringing inspiration that keeps our brand thinking ahead of the curve.
- Creative strategy (design and video):

- Digital experience (web properties):
- Our web properties are often the first handshake between Collibra and the world. You'll ensure that handshake is strong while overseeing collibra.com and all web properties so they perform, convert, and reflect the very best of our brand and platform messaging.

- 10+ years of experience in brand strategy, corporate PR, or creative leadership, with at least 5 years managing high-performing, diverse teams.
- A proven track record building and evolving enterprise brand strategies at a senior level and have the “scars and wins” to show for it.
- A clear point of view on how AI is reshaping buyer behavior, content, creativity, and communications. Moreover, you know how to position a brand that's relevant, credible, and compelling in that moment.
- The instincts of a storyteller combined with the discipline of an operator. You can build the governance, KPIs, and frameworks to make a vision real.
- Extensive experience leading and integrating across creative, web, social, and PR, with a track record of building high-performing teams and agency partnerships that punch above their weight.
- A collaborative spirit with the ability to earn trust across functions, influence without authority, and bring out the best in the people and partners around you, all while keeping the customer at the center of every decision.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required.

You are
- A brand builder. You've built brands that resonate and you know how to evolve them for a world being reshaped by AI. You don't wait for the moment to define itself; you help define it.
- A storyteller with staying power who crafts narratives that cut through noise, earn trust, and hold up over time, whether they're showing up in a press release, a campaign, an executive keynote, or a social post.
- A collaborative operator who moves fluidly between vision and execution, bringing creative, web, social, PR, and cross-functional partners along with you while driving alignment without losing momentum.
- A customer-obsessed leader who keeps the customer at the center of every brand decision, knowing that the strongest brands aren't built from the inside out as they're built around the people they serve.
Measures of success
- Within your first month, you've immersed yourself in the Collibra brand including its history, its gaps, and its opportunities. You've built strong relationships with your peers across Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Customer Marketing, and GTM Enablement, and you have a clear read on how the brand is currently showing up across every channel and property. You've established a baseline understanding of where we stand on share of search and share of voice, and you know exactly where the opportunity lies.
- Within your third month, you've developed a clear and compelling brand strategy that the executive team believes in and the broader marketing team can rally around. Quick wins are visible, whether in the coherence of our web presence, the sharpness of our social voice, or the clarity of our messaging. Your PR agency has a renewed sense of direction, the creative team is energized by the vision you're building together, and you have a concrete plan for how we'll move the needle on share of search and share of voice over the next two quarters.
- Within your sixth month, the Collibra brand is measurably stronger, and the numbers are starting to reflect it. Share of search is trending in the right direction, our share of voice in the market is growing, and the work is more consistent, more compelling, and more connected to the customer. A refreshed narrative is in the market, cross-functional collaboration has a new rhythm, and the brand is cementing its place as a long-term growth driver for the business. People across the organization are talking about the brand differently in this new AI moment and that's because of you.
