Joining Collibra’s Sales Compensation team
We are currently seeking candidates to join our Sales Compensation team at Collibra. The Sales Compensation team is crucial to the success and scalability of our sales organization and its supporting teams. Our main goal is to empower and support our go-to-market organization and, in turn, propel company performance. As part of the Sales Compensation team, you will collaborate closely with business partners across functions and sales leaders.
The primary responsibility for this role is to help administer sales compensation in Xactly, validate data and plans, and research exceptions. The ideal candidate, reporting to the Manager of Sales Compensation, should have experience with sales compensation and the Xactly platform, along with strong business acumen, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment. They should be analytical, detail-oriented, self-motivated, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
This is a hybrid role based in our Raleigh office. Our hybrid model means you’ll work from the office at least two days each week. This setup helps us stay connected, work more closely together, and keep making progress as a team.
The Senior Sales Compensation Analyst at Collibra is responsible for
- Administering and updating the Xactly Incent & CEA platform to ensure accurate configuration of commission plans, rules, and calculations, including maintenance of sales commission plans
- Applying advanced Excel skills to monthly validation, analysis, and reporting while identifying, escalating and recommending solutions to system and process gaps for potential issues needing additional support, review, or action by management.
- Resolving commission inquiries via our Jira Service Support Desk
- Partnering with Sales, Finance, HR, and IT teams to support inquiries, escalations and
- Assisting in year-end and mid-year comp plan changes, including the preparation and distribution of annual plan documents.
You have
- 1-2 years of Xactly Incent experience (Xactly CEA and Connect is a plus)
- 1-3 years of experience in sales compensation, incentive compensation, or a related analyst role.
- Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, lookups, data modeling, etc.)
- Experience with Salesforce (SFDC) and other business systems like Tableau and Workday.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Measures of success
- Within your first month, you will become familiar with Collibra’s sales incentive plans and begin to take ownership of the daily administration of Xactly and sales compensation.
- Within your third month, you will be able to resolve most sales inquiries and assist with ad-hoc reporting.
- Within your sixth month, you will be able to provide detailed training for new hires, create an automation plan for critical processes, and develop SOPs to enhance team efficiency and compliance.
Compensation for this role
The standard base salary range for this position is $72,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.
