TITLE: Staff Platform EngineerLOCATION: New York, NY (Option to work remotely from any location in the U.S.)
DUTIES: Develop, implement and maintain the engineering ecosystem that supports cloud-based software,
enabling customers to optimize the Collibra software platform. Help deliver the tools and the
platform to support the development, release management, and test engineering teams. Provide
guidance, training, support, working tools, and self-service capabilities to stakeholders. EOE
REQTS: Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field plus five
(5) years of experience in the position offered, or as a Systems Engineer, or a related position.
Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer
Science or a related field plus seven (7) years of experience in the position offered, or as a
Systems Engineer, or a related position. Must have five (5) years (or seven [7] years with a
Bachelor’s) of experience with all of the following: Building scalable software applications;
Coding, developing, and testing using Java, Groovy, Golang, and/or Python; Using Git (Bitbucket)
and GitOps principles, Ansible, and Terraform; Performing Audit, Compliance, Security, and
Access Recertifications; Working with cloud vendors and their security models for assessments;
Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Center for Internet Security (CIS) levels 1,
2, and 3 compliance coding, implementation and enforcement; Researching and applying
emerging technologies to enhance application development; Implementing infrastructure and
product components using IaC aligned with the industry’s highest security standards; and Secure
deployment of SaaS based systems in a multi-cloud delivery model with multi-tenant workloads.
SALARY: $190,700 - $276,000 per year
HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
