Joining Collibra’s Data Quality & Observability team:
You will play a crucial role in leading one of Collibra’s top product priorities: embedding powerful data quality and observability capabilities into the market-leading data catalog and governance platform. Reporting to the Director of Product, Data Quality & Observability, you will define and drive the observability product strategy, shaped by deep engagement with data engineers, customer feedback, and competitive insights. You'll partner closely with engineering to define intuitive, performant experiences for monitoring data pipelines. You will join a small team of highly collaborative product managers delivering significant innovations for our customers.
Staff Product Managers at Collibra are responsible for
- Defining product strategy and roadmap based on an in-depth understanding of customer needs, the competitive landscape and industry trends
- Meeting with Fortune-1000 customers regularly to understand use cases, share our roadmap, collect feedback, and influence buying decisions
- Leading a cross-functional agile scrum team throughout the product development process, from ideation to launch and beyond
- Collaborating with peers in our go-to-market organization to refine product priorities, shape product positioning and messaging, and provide training and enablement
- Researching the fast-paced data tools landscape to inform product strategy and positioning
You have
- 7+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS organizations
- Deep understanding of modern data infrastructure, including data lakes, warehouses, orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster), and ETL/ELT pipelines - either as a practitioner or from previous experience building data tools
- Experience building developer-centric products such as CLIs, SDKs, APIs, or other tools used directly in code workflows
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring concepts as applied to data systems—such as tracking data freshness, volume, schema changes, lineage, job runtime, and failure rates; as well as defining SLAs/SLOs for data pipelines and surfacing actionable alerts for data reliability issues
- Worked in a multicultural and diverse environment

Reporting to Collibra’s Director of Product, the Staff Product Managers’s measures of success are
- Within your first month, you will: take ownership of the scrum team to help execute in flight projects, learn our products with hands-on experience, and meet customers to understand their use cases.
- Within your third month, you will: define your first feature including identifying relevant personas, their current challenges and the potential value proposition, detailing a proposed solution in collaboration with design and engineering and soliciting feedback internally and externally.
- Within your sixth month, you will: launch new feature enhancements to production, partnering with marketing and customer success to ensure adoption. Develop and iterate on a comprehensive product roadmap informed by market analysis, customer feedback, and alignment with overall business objective
