Collibra and Lucid Announce New Data Quality Management Integration Solution for IBM InfoSphere Information Server

New York, November 15, 2016 – New Integration Solution to be the First of Several Data Governance Integration Solutions from Lucid for Collibra Users

Collibra, a leader in data governance software solutions for business users, today announced that Bethlehem, PA-based Lucid Technologies & Solutions has launched an integrated Data Quality Management solution. This solution will enable Collibra users to manage data remediation for exceptions identified using IBM InfoSphere Information Server (IIS), improving the overall efficiency of data quality management processes. This is the first of several solutions that Lucid will be releasing to integrate the Collibra data governance platform with other enterprise information management and analytics platforms.

The Lucid Data Quality Management solution identifies data exceptions generated by Information Analyzer in the IBM InfoSphere Information Server and automatically brings them in as tasks for the Stewards in the Collibra data governance center, using the Collibra Connect Framework. Custom Collibra workflows support the review and approval of the data fixes. The data source owners can use the extended workflow to trigger updates to the underlying source systems using DataStage jobs exposed as web services in the IBM Information Services Director.
