Growing in Attendance Each Year, Data Citizens is the Largest Event Focused on Transforming Data into a Business Asset
New York, February 23, 2018 – Collibra, the leader in enterprise data governance and catalog software, today announced its third annual Data Citizens Conference. With 500 attendees expected at this year’s event, Data Citizens is the world’s largest gathering of data governance stakeholders focused on the trends and technologies driving fundamental changes in how businesses find, understand, and trust their data. This year’s event will take place at the Hyatt Regency on the Hudson, Jersey City, NJ on May 1-2, 2018, with a technical pre-day on April 30th at the Collibra New York headquarters.
“Organizations today are looking for ways to maximize their data to drive change and gain competitive advantage, but this is only possible if they can easily find and trust the data to extract value,” said Felix Van de Maele, CEO and co-founder of Collibra. “Data governance offers a strategic approach for businesses to enable their users across the organization to leverage the data they need to collaborate, make critical decisions, and accelerate the move to being a digital business, while also remaining compliant with a growing host of global data privacy regulations. We’re gratified that leading organizations look forward to our Data Citizens Conference each year as a platform to share best practices and the latest thinking in data governance.”
