Senior Sales Engineer, North American Partner
Joining Collibra’s Sales Engineering team:
We are looking for a talented Partner Sales Engineer to drive our joint go-to-market activities with our Technology Alliance Partners, and to make sure that our global systems integrators and regional partners, and their customers and prospects understand our joint capabilities.This is a highly collaborative role, working with our regional partner account managers, our Technology Alliance teams, and our broader go-to-market sales teams to ensure that everyone is fully aligned on our joint solutions.You will use your experience of data platforms, databases and reporting tools, combined with your knowledge of data management (i.e Governance, Stewardship, Data Quality, Data Privacy) - to build compelling solution messaging for Collibra and our partners.
Collibra partners with the world's leading data platform companies, and actively build joint solutions with SAP, Google, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake and others. These are focused on building the best Enterprise Governance solutions for Data and AI.
Partner Sales Engineer’s at Collibra are responsible for:
- Work with the technology Alliance team to influence joint solutions, and to create and deliver solution messaging to Collibra go-to-market teams.
- To be the subject matter expert in the early stages of a solution release, and to help the broader team become capable of taking joint solutions to market.
- To work with regional partners and global systems integrators to ensure they are able to communicate the value of joint solutions to their customers and prospects.
- Help sales teams to validate and qualify opportunities as they arrive, in relation to specific joint Collibra-partner capabilities.
- To create and deliver compelling demos of joint solutions.
- Support marketing activities and events, webcasts and other sales activities as appropriate.
You have:
- 3+ years of experience with a proven track record in Sales Engineering/Presales Consulting.
- Preferably have significant exposure to at least two of the partner platforms we focus on (SAP (ERP, HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud), Google, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake)
- A good understanding of data management principles (Governance, Stewardship etc) is preferred, with Collibra knowledge a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated track record of influencing across all levels of an organization, internally and externally, technical and non-technical, to successfully connect data outcomes to achieving business goals
- Have very highly developed communication and presentation skills.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
- Open to travel as needed

Measures of success are:
- Within your first month, you will become familiar with Collibra and the institutional knowledge of process.
- Within your third month, you will become a voice for Collibra having proven proficiency in the software to start educating the customer on features, roadmap, and process of customer-cycle, within the context of partner solutions.
- Within your sixth month, you will become the recognised go-to person for queries and requests related to joint go-to-market solutions with our partners by both partner and Collibra teams.
