This is a hybrid position based in Prague, Czech Republic. 

Procurement Specialists at Collibra are responsible for

  • Responsible for ensuring that all purchase order requests are processed within defined SLA’s. This includes efficient and timely communications with stakeholders.
  • Responsible for sending all approved purchase orders for electronic signature. Prior to doing so, the Procurement Specialist is responsible for messaging CFO deal details that can be found in the procurement system.
  • Partners with Accounts Payable to ensure that each bill is correctly matched with an approved purchase order.
  • Coordinates with internal stakeholders to match receipts to expenses purchased on credit cards on a monthly basis.
  • Responds to all general procurement system operations inquiries.
  • Responsible for adding or adjusting procurement system workflows when needed and advised by manager.
  • Responsible for providing guidance to stakeholders that are creating purchase orders
  • Continually seeks opportunities to expand knowledge of procurement practices and principles and makes recommendations.
  • Responsible for analyzing usage, potential duplicate products, and sku’s that may not be utilized.
  • Descriptions of each renewal (and net new needs) by department to be documented for Lead Negotiator to act upon

You have

  • Background: any back office business or operations experience for 1-2 years. Must be organized (procurement is a plus).
  • Spends their time working with each department and understanding their upcoming renewals and needs.
  • General working knowledge of operating systems.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required.
  • You must have work authorization to work in Prague, CZ.

  • Highly organized and efficient, with a propensity for acting. 
  • You love to “roll up the sleeves” and have a “get it done” attitude.
  • Highly adaptable.
  • Self starter and has good time management skills.

Measures of success

  • Within your first month, you will become acclimated to the Procurement system in place and begin to process related requests..
  • Within your third month, you will be responsible for processing all purchase requests within the procurement system.
  • Within your sixth month, you will be efficient processing all purchase requests and ensure all SLA’s are being met.
