Associate Production Engineer II, NOC
Joining Collibra’s Production Engineering (NOC) team:
- As an Associate Production Engineer (NOC), you will monitor and respond to critical alerts to production applications in a multi-cloud environment - AWS, GCP, Azure, & GovCloud
- Perform initial triage and investigate issues or incidents reported by Global Support Team or other stakeholders; escalate to appropriate teams internally.
- Execute change requests following well defined runbooks
- Perform weekend deployments during maintenance windows (evenings and weekends).
- Improve internal documentation and procedures in Confluence
Production Engineers at Collibra are responsible for:
- Ensuring service uptime by developing automation for incident response, provisioning, and retirement of systems
- Writing and modifying Infrastructure-as-Code to comply with FedRAMP, SOC2, and other accreditation frameworks as needed
- Working with other teams across the organization including Security, Development, QA, and SRE teams to balance requirements and meet common goals
- Monitoring automated software rollouts and responding to any issues that may arise
You have:
- 2+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, in one or more of AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Working knowledge of Bash (Python is a plus)
- Experience with Infrastructure As Code tools, configuration management like Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
- Analytical and methodical problem solving and organizational skills
- Knowledge of the most common set of protocols and cryptography primitives (IP, TCP, TLS, DNS, HTTP).
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience is required

- Willing to work evening and weekend shifts, with compensation and recovery through a flexible work schedule. The schedule for this position is from 7pm to 2am Thursday - Monday
- Accustomed to a fast paced environment
Measures of success:
- Within your first month, you will absorb fundamental knowledge about Collibra processes/tools and start building team & cross-functional relationships
- Within your third month, you will take ownership of escalations, collaborate on and achieve quarterly OKRs (Objectives & Key Results)
- Within your sixth month, you will drive approaches to reduce toil, improve efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction
Compensation for this role
The standard base salary range for this position is $96,000.00 - $132,000.00 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.
In addition to base salary, we offer equity ownership at every level, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.
