TITLE: Senior Software Engineer
LOCATION: New York, NY, option to work remotely in any location nationally
DUTIES: Apply engineering approaches to deliver value to customers. Collaborate with Product Management, Design, Architecture, and other Engineers to help estimate work, design scalable and performant solutions that will delight our customers and produce high quality production-grade software. Focus and aligns on the team objectives. Mentor other Engineers leveraging your experience and knowledge. Develop SaaS software and deploy into a cloud environment and apply pragmatic engineering approaches to deliver value to customers. Collaborate with Product Management, Design, Architecture, and other Engineers to help estimate work, design scalable and performant solutions that will delight customers, and produce high quality production-grade software. Act as leading engineer who focuses and aligns on the team objectives. Utilize various tools and technologies, including SQL, Agile, Database Query Tuning to develop a Scalable Data Processing Platform for Edge computation using containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. REQTS: Must possess a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the position offered, or as a Software Engineer, Technical Lead or a related position. Must possess six (6) years of experience with all of the following: SQL; Database Query Tuning; Utilizing software design and architecture; Utilizing CI/CD principles, Java programming, Spring boot; Implementing APIs using Java, Spring, Rest and GraphQL; Investigating issues reported by the L3 support team and provide solutions/fixes; Enhancing and updating the Jenkins pipeline to support continuous integration and continuous delivery; and optimizing the DB queries by reviewing the query plan.
SALARY: $178,000 - $209,000/year
HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
