Accounts Receivable Analyst
Joining Collibra’s Accounting team
- We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst who will play a critical role in the global accounts receivable/billing operations.
- You will report to the Senior Accounts Receivable Manager, and will play a key role in the team’s day-to-day operations. This highly visible role will interact closely with the Sales, Customer Success, and renewals department.
Accounts Receivable Analyst at Collibra are responsible for:
- Issue invoices in NetSuite to customers for new, renewal and expansion sales orders daily. Apply incoming cash receipts to customer accounts (lockbox, checks, ACH)
- Work with Professional Services department to determine billable professional service and prepare monthly invoices accordingly
- Analyze assigned past due accounts, determine the reason for non-payment and collaborate with Senior AR Manager and recommend the best course of action to resolve the past due balances
- Maintain detailed records of interactions with customers including follow up dates and next steps in Netsuite ERP. Respond to inquiries from customers, internal and external, via email and phone, and follow up when necessary
- Assist in year-end audits under the direction of Senior AR Manager
You Have:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of collections / billing operations experience in SaaS industry preferred
- Experience with NetSuite ERP and Salesforce.com. Experience with customer online portals: Ariba, Coupa, a big PLUS
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

- System savvy with excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Able to work collaboratively as well as independently, maintain high degree of accuracy and efficiency to meet tight deadlines
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task; strong organizational and communication skills
Measures of success are:
- Within your first month, you will have a good understanding of Collibra’s products, the billing process in Netsuite, and collections policy
- Within your third month, you will be able to review sales orders and contracts in Salesforce to ensure correct billings
- Within your sixth month, you will own the entire collection process, analyze monthly DSO report
Compensation for this role
The standard base salary range for this position is $45,600 - $63,000 per year. This position is eligible for overtime compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.
