Learning Business Partner

Joining Collibra's Talent & Culture Enablement team:

We are building a compelling manager and employee development portfolio, which is crucial for Collibra’s continued growth. To realize this vision, we seek a collaborative, agile, and growth-oriented Learning Business Partner to partner with Collibra’s Tech and Product functions to identify, build, execute, and continuously improve upon high impact learning solutions. This role is based in EMEA.

The Learning Business Partner at Collibra is responsible for:

In this role, you will partner with our People Partners, Talent Management, New Hire Enablement, Development, and Employee Experience teams, and SMEs to create customized and scalable learning programs and initiatives that are clearly linked to our internal frameworks, business priorities, and core values. Operating within the fast-growing and collaborative Talent & Culture Enablement team, you will embody our core value of “Lead with Confidence” by enabling Collibrians to do the same.

You Have:

  • A passion for learning along with a proactive and self-driven attitude
  • Ability to understand business needs, analyze issues, and drive adoption and application of all-Collibra learning content for skill-building in alignment with learning plans in the Tech and Product functions, adding customization as needed. 
  • Understanding how to cater to the learning needs of a multi-cultural, global, high-growth organization while integrating the Collibra culture throughout and connecting to the overall Learning & Development roadmap and learning portfolio
  • Expertise with coaching, consulting, adult learning practices incl. leader and team development as well as understanding of program management processes including event production and learning management system knowledge
  • Experience with the creation of a range of learning experiences including in-person, hybrid, and virtual learning experiences, pre-recorded, web-based, or virtual setups, and delivery through a variety of mediums for a blended learning experience
  • The capability and confidence to interface effectively with senior leaders and multiple stakeholders across geographies in a consultative, training facilitation, and coaching manner

You Are:

  • Agile, curious and inclusive with the ability to take on the roles of consultant, coach, content creator, and training facilitator to cater to the learning needs at a functional, team, and individual level, applying best practices of change management and organizational effectiveness
  • A strategic and highly collaborative learning partner to leadership in tech and product functions, working closely with People Partners, Talent Management, Employee Experience, New Hire Enablement, and functional learning teams as well as other stakeholders to identify learning initiatives that align with overall priorities and align on timing and approaches
  • An innovative thinker who enjoys defining the problem as much as the solution and is open-minded towards outside-the-box ideas and questioning conventional methods
  • Analytical and data driven to create effective success measurements that are aligned with the overall measurement strategy and approaches of the wider L&D team 
  • An organizer who coordinates learning events, learning materials, data collection and holds stakeholders accountable on joined deliverables

Reporting to Collibra's Director of Learning and Development, measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will learn our business, build relationships, understand existing results of learning needs, the landscape of current L&D content and Talent Management frameworks and current adoption in the Tech and Product functions. You will set priorities around the high impact learning initiatives for our employees in 2022 in alignment with the overall Learning and Development roadmap
  • Within your third month, you will be developing and executing on first high impact initiatives across your functions
  • Within your sixth month, you will have established yourself as a sought-after learning partner that the business routinely consults for advice and guidance. You will have established best practices for delivering effective learning initiatives in the functions and created structures for learners to leverage Collibra learning resources like LinkedIn Learning, Insights Discovery, and other programs working towards a culture of continuous development that is in lockstep with Collibra’s internal talent management frameworks and culture
