Senior Technical Product Manager, Lineage Integrations

Joining Collibra’s Lineage and Integrations Product team:

We are looking for a visionary product manager to join our growing product management team.

The mission of the Lineage and Integrations team is to accelerate the integration of Collibra with third party data sources so our customers can govern, trust and access the data within their data sources.

This role will engage with Collibra’s global customer base to develop a product roadmap of lineage integrations that maximizes customer adoption. This role works closely with engineering to deliver easy-to-implement, cloud-native lineage integrations and tools. You will work with a team that spans across different regions including North America and Europe. You will collaborate with Collibra’s technology partners that include on-prem data sources as well as leading cloud platforms in delivering these integrations.

Senior Technical Product Managers at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Leading product planning and execution within an inclusive, collaborative and inspiring team
  • Collaborating with the product team including engineers, architects, and designers.
  • Prioritizing the product backlog with the inputs from other product managers, customers, partners, Collibra field teams and market research.
  • Working with the Engineering/Scrum team and Technical Architect to break down feature Epics into technical user stories with the right level of detail and acceptance criteria
  • Tracking and managing progress, risks, and dependencies of product deliverables, and understanding our customer pain points and industry market trends.
  • Finding the right balance between new features, product quality, and operational efficiency using a data-driven approach.

You Have:

  • Experience as a Technical/Product Manager or Product Owner or related experience at enterprise software companies with focus on data management and/or integrations
  • Experience with third party software integrations and/or data lineage is a plus
  • Experience capturing and analyzing requirements (internal and external) and translating them into a viable product.
  • Experience in agile methodology and leading scrum teams - JIRA tool experience is preferred
  • Experience working with agile development teams on scalable, cloud-based SaaS solutions and in a high-growth phase supporting field teams

  • Able to lead meetings and discussions through very strong verbal communication skills.
  • Able to balance the needs of the field facing teams while supporting and leading the product development activities
  • Customer driven, passionate about helping our customers be successful, and able to creatively solve customer escalations
  • Committed to developing and owning the product strategy and roadmap
  • Able to work cross-functionally and influence without authority

Measuring Success:

Reporting to VP of Product Management for Lineage and Integrations, measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will manage the product backlog for the agile execution teams.
  • Within your third month, you will influence and execute on the roadmap for Lineage integrations.
  • Within your sixth month, you will represent Collibra as domain and product expert at customer and partner interactions
