Together we’ll set the tone and pace for creating satisfying and effective experiences that have measurable positive impacts for our customers and on our business.

A Senior User Experience Designer at Collibra is responsible for:

  • Creating the critical elements and detailed behaviors of our product interfaces—based on user and business goals—to achieve better outcomes for customers
  • Applying and contributing to enterprise design systems
  • Composing and growing product designers alongside multidisciplinary team members in order to create beneficial, robust, accessible, and high-performing products
  • Promoting and using best design practices as well as qualitative and quantitative assessment methodologies to produce consistent and effective experiences

You have:

  • Proven experience in graphic design, UX/UI Design, HCI,  or a related field.
  • A portfolio of individual and team projects (5 - 10 years worth) of high quality, full-lifecycle, goal-centered interface design work in complex domains for web, desktop, and mobile. You will be asked to present an overview of 2 - 3 projects to the team.
  • The ability to collect, synthesize, and discuss feedback and input from users, research, leadership, product management, and engineering teams and then incorporate that into designs and positively impact business results
  • The ability to express a clear design direction and philosophy with strategies and tactics for implementation, and gain senior stakeholder agreement
  • Fluency in U.S. or British English

You are:

  • Skilled in interaction and experience design; able to demonstrate your expertise through scenarios, user journeys, design concepts, and low- and high-fidelity mockups
  • A storyteller who helps others see the value of great design
  • Experienced working  within brand guidelines to create experiences that reinforce a brand’s style or voice through its visual touchpoints
  • Highly proficient in modern design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma), prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Principle), and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira)
  • Capable of designing sophisticated products for global markets
  • Able to lead, direct, mentor, coach, and educate about design with a wide range of colleagues

Measuring Success:

Reporting to the Director of UX, the Senior UX Designer’s measures of success are:

  • Month 1: Deep dive into onboarding, understanding our products, and getting to know the team
  • Month 2: Understand major Product Design team priorities and participate in all design team activities
  • Month 3:  Outline a strategy for your team function and contributions to UX excellence
