Channel Partner Director

Meeting your future team:

As a Cloud Partner Channel Director, you will have an exciting opportunity to build mind share and adoption of Collibra’s offerings with Snowflake. A significant portion of this role will be dedicated to managing and expanding our partnership with Snowflake. Your responsibilities will include building strong relations with Snowflake’s field leadership and channel partners, internal industry groups, sales and marketing teams, and leading campaigns focused on driving referrals market penetration.

Specifically, you will work with Snowflake Partner Sales Managers, Sales Executives, District Managers, and Business Development Managers. As a channel director you will build cadence around key activities, including planning monthly and quarterly sales outreach, facilitating joint Snowflake/Collibra campaigns and GTM initiatives, reporting on KPIs and opportunities, and collaborating with Snowflake inside sales and demand generation teams.


Partner Development Manager's are responsible for:  

  • The overall success of Collibra’s relationship with Snowflake. Which can be measured through two of KPI’s: new Snowflake referrals and number of co-sell opportunities.
  • Advocating the creation of new solutions, and ensuring the proper enablement and marketing activities to go to market with these solutions.
  • Making sure joint Snowflake/Collibra customers reach value by optimizing Snowflake and Collibra channel resources to help where possible.
  • Building relationships and trust within Snowflake channel and field, going higher and wider.
  • Working with sales leadership, marketing leadership and product leadership to evangelize for Snowflake within Collibra.
  • Help design enablement efforts within Collibra and Snowflake so all sellers are aware of the joint value.
  • Join Snowflake and Collibra QBR’s to keep track of key KPI’s and ensure our Snowflake relationship is utilized to its fullest by Collibra’s field.
  • Travel on a limited basis within the US and potentially globally for Collibra organization activities


You Have:

  • 10+ years of enterprise software industry experience in business development, sales, or partner management.
  • Experience in driving sales with SaaS solutions in data governance, data management, analytics or business intelligence is preferred.
  • History of building collaborative relationships with partners; ability to grow existing relationships and build new ones.
  • You're comfortable talking across all levels of an organization and are able to influence executive stakeholders, both internally and externally, to achieve goals. Comfortable presenting to partners, customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Supportive and collaborative across all parts of an organization
  • Highly organized and can identify and prioritize developing SI partners
  • Able to adapt and engage across multiple topics, teams, customers, and partners
  • Interested in data intelligence and being part of a team that is focused on importance of data intelligence for our customers
  • Familiar with the need for data management and/or data governance for larger organizations


Measuring Success:

  • Within the first month, master the joint value between Collibra and Snowflake. Be able to lead first calls between Collibra and Snowflake AE's. Drive Snowflake co-sell process
  • Within your third month, organize and run enablement sessions for Collibra and Snowflake's field
  • Within your sixth month, run and optimize, end to end Snowflake co-sell program. Align with product, marketing, enablement and field on how to drive pipeline
