Senior People Analytics Associate

Meeting your future team:

Collibra is seeking an innovative, agile, data-oriented Senior People Analytics Associate who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced, global environment. This individual contributor role will partner with various People and Places Centers of Excellence to help build analytical insights that our business leaders need to help scale and grow Collibra. This key team member will need to influence internal and external stakeholders, use data to impact key strategic business decisions, and rapidly build solutions to scale insights throughout the organization.

As a Senior People Analytics Associates at Collibra, you will:

  • Collaborate with various People & Places Centers of Excellence to help build analytical insights that our business leaders need to help scale and grow Collibra
  • Drive automation of state-of-the-art data flows and reporting by leveraging tools in our data stack (FiveTran, Trifacta, and Tableau) and implementing solutions in partnership with our People Operations team
  • Analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers
  • Develop and execute tools/insights that inform decision making around our people, culture, and leadership
  • Spearhead initiatives to use our own product and prepare best practices that we can share with other users and customers

You Have:

  • 5 to 8+ years of experience, including operating in a Senior Analytics role, preferably within a People team.
  • Experience with data analysis and/or visualization, ideally working with data pipelining tools like FiveTran and Trifacta and BI tools like Tableau
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, complex, and ambiguous environment; Agile mindset and ability to pivot and respond to unexpected project turns
  • Ability to formulate analytic approaches and gather data to solve business problems, develop conclusions and present solutions through data driven storytelling 
  • Bachelor’s Degree with an analytical or technical focus preferred
  • Workday experience in Adaptive Planning, Report Writer, dashboards, calculated fields, business objects, data sources, dashboards is desirable

  • Able to collect and analyze large quantities of data, provide meaningful information that will answer questions and solve problems
  • A self-starter and dedicated collaborator with the ability to manage many projects and requests simultaneously
  • Someone who uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems
  • Someone who designs and delivers skillful messaging and storytelling to effectively reach people and influence behavior

Measuring Success:

  • By the end of your first month, you will have met with our CoEs, familiarized yourself with our data infrastructure, and understood the rationale behind its structure
  • By the end of the third month, you will have contributed to improvements in existing data flows, reports, and partnerships with CoEs
  • By the end of the sixth month, you will have developed new reporting capabilities and will have led new initiatives in enabling our partnering CoEs to make more data-driven decisions
