Senior FP&A Analyst

Meeting your future team:

Collibra’s Finance team is united by our relentless focus on building trusted business partnerships, solving difficult business challenges, scaling systems and processes for growth, and making a meaningful impact on our business.
We embody our values of “We are one Collibra” by working, learning, and having fun together; as well as being “Open, direct and kind” with each other. We are passionate about the role finance can play in shaping our business, take full ownership over the work we do, and are driven to get things done.

Senior FP&A Analysts at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Leading financial planning and analysis globally across our entire Services & Support organizations as we continue our rapid growth. Reporting into the Director, FP&A, you will be responsible for driving planning and forecast accuracy across our Consulting, Coaching, Education, and Support organizations.
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with senior management and leaders within the Services and Support organizations. You will have direct visibility to senior leadership, including our Chief Customer Officer and members of the Services and Support leadership team, and be expected to play an active role in managing the business.
  • Continually improving our operational and financial forecasting process and accuracy. You will work closely with our operations and people partner teams to ensure our operational and financial planning processes run smoothly and are clearly understood across the organization.
  • Reporting monthly and quarterly operational and financial metrics. You will partner closely with our operations team to analyze and understand drivers behind various Services and Support metrics, including but not limited to utilization, average bill rate and burn rate.

You Have:

  • 2 - 4+ years experience in Corporate Finance / FP&A supporting a services and/or support organization - preferably within the technology industry.
  • Proven experience building strong relationships with business partners across functions and countries
  • Extensive knowledge of and ability to build and adapt financial models. Expertise in understanding and analyzing professional services and support operating metrics.
  • Strong knowledge and familiarity of financial reporting / accounting concepts; particularly under ASC 606 guidelines
  • Experience managing workloads in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Built and leveraged cloud-based planning/modeling tools (particularly great if you have experience with Adaptive Planning)

You Are:

  • A thoughtful collaborator, and great listener, keenly focused on understanding business challenges, building strong relationships and driving even stronger outcomes.
  • A highly analytical problem-solver, with a propensity for taking action.
  • Able to “zoom in and out” of details when needed.  You love to “roll up the sleeves” and get into the data and analysis while keeping the bigger picture in focus.
  • An excellent communicator capable of translating complex, nuanced, or detailed analysis into clear, actionable summaries or recommendations.
  • Comfortable in ambiguity, thrive through change, are highly adaptable and can create clarity and focus in a dynamic environment

Measuring Success:

  • Within your first month, you will begin to develop strong relationships with your business partners across the Services and Support organizations; including understanding their top priorities and pain points
  • Within your third month, you will have rebuilt and enhanced our services operating model in Adaptive Planning; including leveraging data integrations with external systems
  • Within your sixth month, you will have become the trusted go-to finance partner for all of Services & Support; able to speak to trends and variance drivers of both revenue and expense.
