Joining Collibra’s Product Management team:

We are looking for someone with experience and expertise in managing platforms and services for our SaaS Cloud.

In this role, you will collaborate with production engineers, architects, and other product teams to define how Collibra handles cloud native application design, cloud automation (containers and orchestration technologies), cloud security, site reliability, scalability, and product delivery. You will work with product and operations teams that span the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia.

You will collaborate with primary stakeholders, including:

  • Our product and technical teams, including product management, architecture, engineering, testing, operations, design, research, and more
  • Our business teams, including marketing, sales and pre-sales, customer success, professional services, and more
  • Our ecosystem partners and other service providers
  • Our customers’ business and technical teams

You will report directly to the Director of Product for Production Engineering

Product Managers at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Developing the product vision and delivering on the feature roadmap
  • Overseeing planning and execution for their product teams
  • Owning product delivery commitments and outcomes by managing the backlog and milestones of your teams
  • Representing the customer and user
  • Collaborating with the extended product and engineering org
  • Tracking the progress, mitigating the risks, and managing the dependencies of your product deliverables
  • Understanding customer pain points and industry trends to provide new product ideas and make data-informed decisions
  • Acting as an expert on cloud within the company

You Have:

  • Experience in operating enterprise-scale SaaS platforms and services in a multi-cloud world
  • Proven track record of successful product launches in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience gathering technical requirements, creating specifications and workflow documents for product and feature releases; proficient in presentations, experience with Jira a plus
  • Proficiency with Agile, Continuous Integration/Development, DevOps, GitOps, and SDLC models
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management or Technical Management (PM/PO/technical lead)

You Are:

  • A team leader and motivator who can influence and inspire others
  • Proficient with metrics and quantitative analysis; able to extract meaning from data
  • A decision-maker who can navigate ambiguity and work toward certainty
  • A good communicator who is comfortable presenting to both colleagues and external vendors
  • A collaborator and project manager who can ensure sustainable delivery

Reporting to Collibra’s Cloud Ops Product Lead, measures of success are:

  • Within the first month, you will complete the onboarding process, meet different teams in the organization, understand Collibra's vision and strategy, study the various products and services, and attend daily scrum calls and Agile ceremonies with the development team.
  • Within your third month, you will become familiar with the prioritized backlog in Jira, able to gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders, work closely with operations and engineering teams, document business and technical requirements, participate in cross planning meetings, understand metrics, and build reports.
  • Within your sixth month, you will create clear product goals, facilitate quarterly prioritization and planning, manage production engineering requests throughout the Product Life Cycle, and make changes in processes based on learnings from the first six months.
