VP, Business Development (BDR TEAM)

Joining Collibra’s Business Development team:

Collibra’s Business Development is the speartip of our revenue engine, developing sales and marketing leads for sales reps to have meaningful connections with prospects and customers. Partnering with Marketing to identify and nurture inbound and outbound leads, the Business Development team personifies our value of “Be the Customer’s Champion,” because through their efforts prospects become customers and those customers can change the world. The Business Development team is rapidly growing, maturing, and building for scale. Collibra seeks an experienced global leader to ensure strategy, direction, metrics, and collaboration between sales and marketing deliver meaningful results.


Collibra’s VP, Business Development is responsible for:

  • Lead and execute the strategy for a global and growing Business Development Representative Team (BDR), including the optimization of capacity modeling, sales cadences, campaigns, and collateral 
  • Build and implement Account Based Experience (ABX) programs to align Go-To-Market strategy
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing Leadership to align on Go-To-Market strategy and execute key pipeline acceleration and growth programs; develop key metrics and  leading/lagging indicators to diagnose, forecast, and supplement pipeline
  • Define a clear scope of roles and responsibilities aligned with the Go-To-Market segments and programs
  • Manage and track the teams performance using our CRM tools and techstack, and inspire BDR Managers to perform their best through leadership, coaching, continual development and mentorship of the team. 
  • Design and develop onboarding, training, and promotion/growth programs


You Have:

  • Over 10+ years of demonstrated experience in leading BDR Teams in ABX or ABM environment
  • Experience developing, implementing and leading a metrics-drive team with demonstrable insights supporting ABX/ABM strategies
  • Lead BDR teams supporting Enterprise SaaS sales
  • Strong business acumen with a passion to align Sales & Marketing in one Go-To-Market approach to drive revenue growth. 
  • Excellent written & verbal communications skills

    • Passionate about attracting, hiring, onboarding, retaining, coaching, and inspiring talent
    • A builder, enabling the growing team through mentorship 
    • Able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of business needs and revenue

  • Creating and implementing a cohesive, global BDR playbook & go-to-market strategy
  • Achieving your sales objectives
  • Developing BDR’s to achieve higher productivity
  • Building a highly engaged, high performing BDR teams
