  • Collibra’s Software Engineering Team is evolutionary by nature, and as part of a multi-product cloud company, we are looking for experienced and dedicated Engineering Managers to join our company.

Engineering Manager's at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Leading cross-functional engineering team to meet business needs
  • Helping to drive the technical vision of current and future solutions
  • Helping the team to set the right expectations with product managers, cross engineering teams, UX, and other stakeholders
  • Acting as a people manager, by enabling your team members to achieve career and personal growth
  • Building culture based on trust and collaboration

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a passion for quality
  • 2+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager leading a technical team
  • knowledge related to software development best practices and Agile methodologies
  • great organizational skills to assist the team in the identification, prioritization, and removal of impediments 
  • great communication skills

You Are:

  • Able to build a positive team spirit on a daily basis and support motivation and positive attitude
  • Continually looking for best practices, trends and sharing them with the team
  • Ambitious to see your team members developing their competencies 
  • Able to work on a diverse team, build networks, promote collaboration, and lead by example
  • Great listener

Measuring Success:

  • Within your first month, meet the team, get onboarded with our products and practice areas and start leading your team’s Agile practice.
  • Within your third month, you will have a good understanding of the team, their challenges, and priorities.
  • Within your sixth month, you will have a good understanding of the team’s products, and start contributing to the team’s roadmap and strategic vision.
