Joining Collibra's Sales Ops team:

Collibra is looking for a Senior Sales Operations Associate to join the Sales Operations team. This position will partner closely with the VP of Strategic Sales to drive successful go-to-market execution. The responsibilities include virtually every aspect of running a sales organization, including but not limited to organizational design, go-to-market strategy, management of operating metrics, deal flow, systems design and project management, compensation plan design, sales process and rules of engagement oversight. This is a cross-functional and high-impact role that requires a keen sense of ownership and drive. You should have strong analytical and project management skills, enabling key business stakeholders to understand requirements, shape analytical deliverables, and drive solid execution. 

The Senior Sales Operations Associate at Collibra is responsible for:

  • Becoming the trusted business partner to our US Strategic Accounts Sales Leadership team, taking a genuine passion for their mission, and setting them up for success
  • Standardizing and building business reporting metrics for strategic analysis and internal business review at all levels of the organization including executive, middle management, and field level sellers
  • Supporting the execution of the annual planning cycle, including: capacity planning, territory design, incentive compensation and quota, sales roadmaps and targeting
  • Collaborating with sales leaders, finance, marketing, and the people team to help set motivating and realistic quotas and goals
  • Acting as the voice of US Strategic Accounts Sales on major x-functional initiatives and working closely with x-functional teams including Enablement, Marketing, Finance, Deal Desk, and IT to coordinate effective deployment of resources, impactful programs and process/tools that remove friction in the sales process

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Consulting, or related function
  • 2+ years experience with Salesforce CRM (or similar) relational database systems
  • Experience working with a Sales team, preferably focusing on global strategic accounts
  • Strong business acumen and analysis skills, including written communication and presentation development
  • Experience in using quantitative analyses to drive meaningful business results
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Reporting to Collibra’s Director of Field Operations, measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will immerse yourself in the day-to-day operations of the US Strategic accounts team, learning about their customers, their use cases, and product adoption levels. 
  • Within your third month, you will have become intimately familiar with our CRM database and be capable of leveraging this information to calculate common SaaS metrics, pinpoint strengths and weaknesses in our go-to-market activities, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Within your sixth month, you will partner closely with the US Strategic Sales leadership to develop their go-to-market strategy and help articulate a clear and compelling path to driving significant expansion opportunities in 2022.
