Joining Collibra's Accounting team:

Collibra is looking for a GL-accountant to join our growing Accounting team in building a scalable, world-class Accounting function. You will support the team’s accounting efforts in organizing for scale and have global responsibilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-funded, high growth Belgian scale-up.

GL Accountants at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Global responsibility for:
    • Payroll Accounting and related reconciliations (including benefits, bonus and commissions)
    • IC eliminations, reconciliations and settlements
    • Allocations
  • Leading the monthly and year-end closing process related to your global responsibilities
  • Interacting with the external group auditor in relation to your global responsibilities
  • Preparation of the statutory accounts (stand-alone) for all our different subsidiaries
  • Interacting with external local auditors to obtain audit approval for the local statutory accounts (Belgium, UK and Poland)
  • Interacting with external advisors in relation to GAAP conversion and local audit process
  • Assist in setting up statutory compliance for new geo’s
  • Quarterly transfer pricing calculation and processing in our accounting ERP system
  • Drive automation / Assist in implementing improvements to our accounting ERP system

You Have:

  • Degree in accounting or finance (+3 years of experience)
  • Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
  • US GAAP and BE GAAP knowledge
  • Knowledge of GAAP-conversion
  • Good basic understanding of Transfer Pricing
  • Experience with NetSuite and FloQast are a plus
  • Outstanding project management skills to establish and meet deadlines

Reporting to Collibra's Accounting Director, measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will understand payroll accounting and related reconciliations.
  • Within your third month, you will be able to calculate and post Transfer Pricing in our accounting system
  • Within your sixth month, you will own statutory compliance for all geo’s
