Collibra is looking for a Tax Manager to join our growing team and help build the processes needed to support the rapid growth at the company.  In this new role, you will report to the Head of Tax & Treasury and will be an integral part of shaping the corporate tax function at Collibra.  Living Collibra’s value of “Embrace and Drive Change”, you’ll be in a hands-on, roll up your sleeves position, improving processes and creating order.

The Tax Manager at Collibra will be responsible for:

  • Drive tax compliance across multiple tax types in federal, state and foreign jurisdictions, including identifying gaps and establishing processes to meet compliance obligations
  • Manage the collection, analysis and review of financial data used to support tax planning, research, projections, compliance and audits by various tax authorities
  • Assist in review of Collibra's federal, state and foreign income tax returns and other business-related filings, prepared by outside advisors
  • Manage, investigate and resolve any tax authority notifications, domestic and international
  • Assist with the implementation of OneSource Tax Provision

You Have:

  • 4-6 years of experience in corporate tax, including Big 4 accounting firm experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Tax.  CPA certification and/or a Master’s degree a plus. 
  • Solid understanding of ASC 740 principles and relevant financial reporting requirements.
  • System savvy and ability to work with different applications and databases; experience with NetSuite, OneSource Tax Provision, and/or Avalara, a plus.

Measuring Success:

  • Within the first month, you’ll have a good understanding of Collibra’s global structure and resulting compliance and reporting obligations.
  • Within the first three months, you’ll have jumped into some key initiatives and have a good working understanding of Collibra’s systems and data sources available to you.
  • Within the first six months, you’ll be driving the tax compliance calendar and owning the related data gathering and analysis.
