Collibra is seeking an intelligent and forward-thinking security professional to join the Collibra Security Office (CSO). This exciting role within the Security Engineering and Operations team will help you define the future of cloud at Collibra. With data becoming the new most valuable resource, companies are leveraging platforms like Collibra to leverage their data’s value in a governed way.

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will drive the secure design and delivery of a world-class cloud-native platform, leveraging your expertise for all areas of cloud infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include partnering with development, engineering, and cloud operations to embed security by design to enable rapid adoption and transformation of cloud services.

Cloud Security Engineer's at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Helping to develop architectural requirements and corresponding engineering processes and technologies to support Collibra’s cloud-native platform.
  • Build the necessary capacity to support engineering, product, and cloud operations teams throughout the devops lifecycle.
  • Develop, continuously improve, and ensure compliance with, controls built for the cloud-native platform.
  • Partner with development, engineering, and operations teams to cultivate a secure CI/CD mindset and secure practical automation solutions.
  • Additional tasks include supporting the team during security incidents and investigations; working with broad teams to advance the security posture of Collibra.

You Have:

  • Minimum of 6 years IT/Security experience across a wide range of disciplines.
  • 2 years plus experience with Cloud Security or Cloud Engineering in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline, AGILE development, SCRUM methodologies, etc.
  • Experience with engineering and operations in compliance with regulatory requirements and/or frameworks. (i.e.: FedRAMP, HIPAA, NIST, ISO 27001/2, etc.)

You Are:

  • Self-motivated and driven with an ability to execute with little supervision.
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency with security operations and engineering.
  • Possess advanced presentation and communication skills.
  • A security leader and excellent collaborator/teammate.
  • Someone who has a CISSP, CISM, CCSK, or similar certifications.
