Joining Collibra’s Pre-Sales team:

  • We are looking for you to build out our team of passionate and driven professionals to drive the further growth and expansion of Collibra in the UK region. 
  • As a PreSales Engineer at Collibra you will be an essential part of the EMEA sales organization and will be a key player in our sales engagements. You will be responsible for the functional and technical aspects of the sales cycle and build trust with prospects showing them how Collibra can help them to find, understand and trust their data to solve important business challenges and generate value from their data.
  • For this role, you will be reporting into the UKI Presales Manager.

Pre-Sales Engineer’s at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Helping our prospects and customers as a trusted advisor to understand how Collibra can help them to achieve their business goals.
  • Preparing and delivering the highest quality sales presentations and demonstrations, both on site and remotely to business- as well as technical audiences.
  • Team with Sales Leads and act as a go-to person for product related questions, help with qualification, answer functional and technical sections of RFx and more, to ultimately win customers and build revenue in the region.
  • Help prospects to evaluate Collibra from a functional and technical perspective and lead those aspects of the evaluation process.
  • Work hands-on as an expert with the Collibra SAAS solution and technologies and for example develop custom demo’s.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of successful experience working in a Pre-Sales role selling enterprise SAAS solutions in the UK and/or across EMEA.
  • Comfortable working with data in area’s like Data Management, business Intelligence, data governance, data analytics or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience working with data in cloud environments like GCP, AWS and Azure, including working with REST API’s.
  • Familiarity with the business- and technical challenges faced by enterprise organizations as they seek to derive value from their data.

You Are:

  • A world-class communicator: both oral and written and an active listener.
  • Confident presenting and demonstrating to both business and technical audiences on all levels.
  • Someone who wants to learn and grow and who sees challenges as opportunities to do this. 
  • Someone who enjoys teaming up with co-workers in a fast-paced environment to make things happen.
  • Willing to travel, fluent in English. Any other European language is a plus.

Reporting to Collibra’s Presales Manager, the Pre-Sales Engineer’s measures of success are:

Collibra takes onboarding seriously. Some of the things you will be able to do in your first couple of months:

  • Within your first month you will have a good understanding of the Collibra proposition and you will be able to present it.
  • Within your third month, you will be engaged in opportunities as the lead presales, of course with support from colleagues.
  • Within your sixth month, you will be mostly self-sufficient and work on a variety of sales engagements.
