We're looking for a top-notch Engineer to join us on the development of Cloud-Native Platform.

This team is responsible for providing  a framework that allows Engineers to easily integrate, deploy, upgrade and manage applications into the Collibra platform ecosystem for our cloud customers.

A day in the life of a Cloud Native Engineer with our Infrastructure squad:

You’ll be building Collibra cloud-native infrastructure platform with your team members and you’ll have a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • Formulate, suggest and implement new ideas/features for our cloud infrastructure
  • Work on bleeding edge practices like Infrastructure as code, GitOps , Continuous Delivery and Observability
  • Work over a containerized , multi-cloud, multi-region environment 
  • Together with the other engineers in your team, you’ll build and implement the new functionalities with a passion for quality. You’ll then review the changes from your peers before they go into the main line in Git.
  • Interact closely with the QA engineers to make sure you write the necessary tests and they can give you feedback early in the process.
  • Report on your progress by updating the status of the Jira issues
  • Demo fully finished parts to your team, and demo your work to the entire engineering and product teams (and in extent, the entire company) every month
  • The technologies you’ll use:
    • Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, Helm, Git, Traefik, SignalFX, Datadog, Go, Java, PostgresQL, Kafka, ElasticSearch, Hashicorp Vault, Terraform, different cloud providers (AWS and GCP for sure) … and much more.


You Have:

  • Industry experience and knowledge of:  
    • Docker, Kubernetes, and preferably, Helm
    • AWS or GCP infrastructure projects
    • Experience with cloud-native operations aspects like disaster recovery, chaos engineering, scalability, resilience,  *-as-code, linux administration …
    • Ideally, but not mandatory: Java, Terraform, Vault, Go, PostgresQL, ElasticSearch or Kafka
  • A passion for cloud-native architectures, quality, good design and clean code
  • The belief that DevOps is the right way
  • A great understanding of cloud-native engineering, infrastructure as code, continuous delivery
  • An Agile and positive mindset
  • A great passion about creating and finishing new things
  • Problem-solving, curious and continuously learning attitude
  • You’re fully capable of working in English
