How you'll make an impact at Collibra:

Collibra is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst to support change projects in the context of our strategic initiative of transforming our company and product into a true Software-as-a-Service. This is a global initiative across all departments and will touch every employee at Collibra. We aim to nurture a new way of thinking and instill a SaaS DNA in everything we do. 

As a Sr. Data Analyst, you will do much more than just crunching data. You will support the number one strategic program currently underway at Collibra. Your work will inform every decision that is made, presenting an opportunity to see the impact of your work on a daily basis.

You will be working with nearly every part of the Collibra organization, but few of your days will be without interaction with Product, Customer Success, and our Data Office. You will be part of a small community of analysts who help drive our business today, and will have an opportunity to impact how we treat data from A to Z at the company. We will rely on you to be an ambassador of the data driven mindset that we instill in everything we do, and to drive continuous improvement.

Ideally, you have a firm grasp on or keen interest in learning how business works. Collibra’s core values will support you in learning new things every day as you work with some of the most qualified people coming from various backgrounds.

We also expect you to have experience building products. Having solid notions of  requirements gathering, design, iterative delivery, documentation, tracking adoption, and continuous improvement will help you fit right in with how we build and run things at Collibra.

A day in the life of a Sr. Data Analyst at Collibra:

You’ll be part of the core SaaS Transformation Program team and will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including: 

  • Designing, maintaining, and enhancing product reporting and analytics
  • Compiling, analyzing, and evaluating data to synthesize findings and recommendations
  • Creating comprehensive dashboards and metrics to inform strategic business decisions and real-time course correction
  • Interfacing with various teams to understand, document, and improve data flows and data quality leveraging Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud ™.
  • Collaborating with Product management on enhancing decision making with product usage analytics
  • Supporting and working with our customer facing teams to help them bring our SaaS strategy to our customers and guide them successfully through the SaaS transformation journey 
  • Identifying, specifying, and prioritizing opportunities to further improve the collaboration across different departments and continuously instill a SaaS DNA in everything we do 
  • Leading by example in terms of openness towards and driving change in a fast growing company like Collibra

You Have:

  • Experience working as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar, preferably in a SaaS enterprise software company
  • Experience or interest in behavioral analysis and product adoption / user retention
  • A highly data driven and analytical mindset
  • Experience designing and building data products optimized for customer value
  • Excellent understanding of data structures and best practices
  • Familiarity with statistical methods in application to generating insights
  • Ability to make data come to life through thoughtful choice of visualization techniques. Familiarity with Tableau is a plus!
  • Ability to connect with business stakeholders and data specialists around the same problem
  • Ability to learn fast and work with an eye for detail
  • Confidence in presenting to both technical and non-technical people
