How you'll make an impact at Collibra:
As our AP Accountant, you will join our growing Finance and Accounting team in Atlanta in building a scalable, world-class Accounting function. You will support the finance team’s accounting efforts across accounts payable, employee reimbursements, corporate credit cards, month-end close and reconciliations, as well as quarterly and annual audit requests. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-funded, high growth start-up.
A day in the life of an Accounts Payable Accountant at Collibra:
You’ll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
Accounts Payable and T&E reimbursement.
Preparation of payment batches (ACH & wires).
Posting of bank transactions.
1099 preparation and support.
Taking ownership of system improvements and assisting with system integrations.
Assisting in monthly and year-end closing processes.
Assisting in audits.
Participating in projects, which optimize our business process and structure.
2-5 years full cycle accounts payable experience in a high volume, paperless environment
Attention to detail and ability to generate accurate accounting data within deadlines
Ability to take full ownership of responsibilities in a fast paced, team environment
Strong written/verbal communication skills
Must be customer service oriented with a positive attitude and excellent problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of accounting concepts and principles
International experience is a plus (International Subsidiaries, VAT/GST)
Sales & Use tax experience is a plus (including sales tax audits)
Knowledge of accounting software or similar software tools is a plus (NetSuite and Expensify)
Bachelor’s Degree is a plus
