Collibra is looking for a Deal Desk Manager to assist with scaling our enterprise business as we experience hyper growth. This role will report to the Director of Deal Desk. This is a hands-on, roll up your sleeves position and requires a focus on details, organization, and playing as a team. In this position, you will sit at the crossroads of Sales, Finance, Legal, and Finance. You will be a strategic advisor, managing complex deal flow, ensuring compliance, and driving sustainable growth while minimizing Sales cycle times. By using sound business acumen and excellent communication and collaboration skills you will be an essential part in helping Collibra continue to grow.
A day in the life of a Deal Desk Manager at Collibra:
You will be reporting to the Director of Deal Desk, and will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including
Ownership of the deal and contract process including strategic pricing and analysis, financial governance, and review of all terms and conditions.
Providing discount review and point of escalation for commercial terms.
Ensuring all contracts maximize total deal value while limiting risk/exposure to the business.
Providing proactive support, guidance and creative solutions to the sales team in order to help drive new deals as well as for renewal/up-sell opportunities.
Working with Sales, Field Operations and Legal throughout contract process and providing suggestions and assistance in order to ensure proper processing, including but not limited to contract review and feedback, contract red line review and feedback.
Ensuring compliance with company pricing and contract terms.
Collaborating with various internal business partners including FP&A, Sales, Field Operations, and Professional Services on a wide variety of topics.
Providing insights to improve and enhance process to drive a smoother, easier and more frictionless experience.
Interacting with the billing group to address billing questions and concerns.
Processing of contracts and orders, while ensuring all required documentation is in place and in compliance with internal policies.
Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience working in a commercial function within the SaaS industry
Experience with Salesforce.com a must
CPQ and Conga experience a plus
Excellent customer-facing skills and experience
Experience reviewing customer contracts and drafting contract language
Ability to think strategically when designing deal pricing to maximize revenue and decrease deal cycle time
Solid MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint skills.
Ability to analyze & recommend the best course of action for complex pricing situations
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure and tight time constraints across various levels of the organization.
Excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational, analytical and independent problem-solving skills as well as strong presentation skills
