Collibra is looking for a leader to continue to build and grow our world-class Sales Development team.  We need an experienced, focused individual who not only drives performance but creates an atmosphere of collaboration, kindness, and fun.  This team owns one of our most critical objectives: ensure we create enough quality pipeline to exceed our aggressive growth goals, and this leader embodies what's most important to us: serving as a strong example of Collibra values and culture, and embedding this into one of our largest teams!

A day in the life of a Sales Development Director at Collibra:

You’ll be reporting directly to the VP Field Operations, and will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Leading a global team of 30+ world class Sales Development Reps (SDRs) who drive outbound lead generation and cultivate relationships to drive opportunities and our customer’s success
  • Recruiting, training, coaching, mentoring & promoting new SDRs and SDR Managers
  • Acting as a true “leader-coach-mentor” to drive process and performance improvement; expedite SDR career development; and create a culture of fun, kindness, and excellence
  • Defining, owning, managing and refining key metrics and goals and ultimately drive more and better sales pipeline
  • Continually optimizing sales cadences, campaigns, and collateral for optimal results
  • Promoting a culture of learning and development, both internally & for our customers
  • Managing and track your team’s performance using our CRM tools and tech stack
  • Working closely with marketing and sales leadership to align on and execute key pipeline acceleration and growth programs
  • Prioritizing 1:1’s and develop your teams talent to grow into new opportunities at Collibra

You Have:

  • BA/BS Degree required, MBA preferred
  • 7-10 years sales management experience; 1-2 years as a Sales Development Rep, and 1-2 years closing sales experience
  • Best-in-class phone & interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills with a highly organized approach 
  • True passion for learning new things, and even more excitement for teaching
  • Proud ownership of a process with an eagerness to implement improvements, measure, and iterate in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Passion for team and culture building
  • Experience in SaaS B2B sales
  • Experience using CRM and other Sales Development technology tools
