Collibra is seeking an intelligent and forward-thinking security professional to join the Collibra Security Office (CSO). This exciting new role within the Security Operations team will help you define the future of cloud. With data becoming the new most valuable resource, companies are leveraging platforms like Collibra to leverage their data’s value in a governed way.
As a Cloud Security Manager, you will drive the secure design and delivery of a world-class cloud-native platform, leveraging your expertise for all areas of cloud infrastructure. This includes taking a lead role to develop the cloud security architecture and engineering practice. Your responsibilities will include partnering with development, engineering, and cloud operations to embed security by design to enable rapid adoption and transformation of cloud services.
A day in the life of a Cloud Security Engineer at Collibra:
You’ll be reporting directly to the Director of Security Operations and will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
Develop architectural requirements and corresponding engineering processes and technologies to support Collibra’s cloud-native platform.
Build the necessary capacity to support engineering, product, and cloud operations teams throughout the devops lifecycle.
Develop, and ensure compliance with, controls built for the cloud-native platform.
Partner with development, engineering, and operations teams to cultivate a CI/CD mindset and develop practical automation solutions.
Plan, organize, and control multiple responsibilities and sometimes competing requests to achieve desired objectives.
Supporting customer inquiries, questionnaires, reviewing contracts, answering questions and conducting security calls are all part of the day to day.
Additional tasks include supporting the team during security incidents and investigations; working with broad teams to advance the security posture of Collibra.
Other tasks as required.
After hours on-call support may occasionally be required.
Minimum of 8 years IT/Security experience across a wide range of disciplines.
2 years plus experience with Cloud Security.
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline, AGILE development, SCRUM methodologies, etc.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and/or frameworks (i.e.: FedRAMP, HIPAA, NIST, ISO 27001/2, etc.).
Expert presentation and communication skills (strong in customer-facing situations).
Desired certifications include: CISSP, CISM, CCSK, or similar.
Strong knowledge and proficiency with security operations and engineering.
Self-motivated and driven with an ability to execute with little supervision.
A security leader and excellent collaborator/teammate.
