HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT AT COLLIBRA:
Collibra is seeking to enhance and grow our Presales team by bringing some proven technical skills into the existing team. The ideal candidate has strong experience within a software Presales environment and has proven knowledge and hands-on experience.
Our engagements span North America and this role will be required to work hand-in-hand with the other members of the Presales team to jointly deliver a compelling solution to our prospects and to articulate and demonstrate why Collibra is the best choice for them. As such, regular travel throughout North America is an integral part of the role.

This role would be preferably based in the western half of the United States.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PRESALES ENGINEER AT COLLIBRA:
Life at Collibra is dynamic and fast moving. Change is a constant that we face and embrace daily and as such the role is likely to evolve over time. However, some key areas will include:
Provide in depth knowledge of our platform and products to prospects and customers
Take a lead on the technical aspects of sales engagements including conversations with architects, conversations about deployment models and explaining our integration options.
Respond to documents such as RFP´s, technical questionnaires etc. in close cooperation with the sales team engaged on an opportunity
Advise on the technical solution for our prospects and customers
Participate in demonstrations and POC’s
Follow up sessions, meetings and calls with prospects
Be the internal champion for technical aspects of the product including liaison with Product Management about how we can improve our product
Educate and enable the Presales colleagues on the technical aspects of our product
WHY WE NEED YOU:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field
5+ years’ experience working as a PreSales Engineer, must be enterprise software
Strong working knowledge in the following areas:
ESB and EAI technologies, preferably including Mulesoft
Relational Database Management Systems
Integrating systems via API’s, including RESTful API’s
Big Data environments
BPM software (desirable)
Excellent written and verbal English language skills
Sound communication and presentation skills
Open personality, team spirit and a strong desire to learn
Willing to travel up to 50%
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
For this specific position, US authorization is required.
