Digital transformation through community – Collibra’s 2019 Data Citizens Conference
Our team is gearing up for the fourth annual Data Citizens conference, which is being held this year on May 22-23 at the Conrad Hotel in New York City. With more than 600 attendees expected at this year’s event, Data Citizens continues to be the world’s largest gathering of professionals focused on transforming their businesses and delivering on strategic goals through better approaches to data.
I’m really excited about the program of speakers this year. We will have more data citizens speaking than ever before, sharing their experiences, leading practices, and ideas. Attendees can:
- Discover how organizations are Fueling Strategic Transformation with Data and Analytics, including Merck and NN Investment Partners.
- Listen to a new “Women In Data” panel, where senior female data executives from General Motors, Dell, American Airlines, Lockheed Martin, Adobe, and Cox Automotive will talk about their experiences of effective collaboration around data with their front-line businesses.
- Attend a panel discussion focusing on the hot topic of “Getting Data Ethics Right for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.” Learn about data ethics best practices from companies who are leading the way.
- Hear how the winners of the Collibra Excellence awards have transformed their organizations through their own use of data.
This year’s program is so rich – I encourage you to visit the website and explore an ever-growing list of speakers and topics for yourself.
Back by popular demand is the return of our Under the Hood workshop, which takes place the day before the conference, May 21 at the New York Academy of Sciences. This is an opportunity to dive deeper into how specific Collibra capabilities can revolutionize data governance programs, including workflows, integrations, and plug-ins.
Each year, attendees continue to tell us how much they’ve enjoyed the opportunities that this annual event provides for meeting other data citizens. One of the best parts of my role as chief marketing officer here at Collibra is meeting these pioneers in data from around the world who partner with us to deliver digital transformation within their organizations. There is such a deep community among those who use Collibra – both online and in person. The entire Collibra team and I are looking forward to meeting some of you for the first time, face-to-face. We are also excited to reconnect with those of you who are Data Citizen veterans coming back for more. It should be a great event, full of both learning and sharing of experience – I hope to see you there!
