Data Citizens ‘20:
A message from Fleur Sohtz, CMO

To our Collibra community,

Each year, I look forward to our flagship Data Citizens event because I love connecting with our community, learning from each other and sharing experiences. While I will miss the opportunities in-person events offer, we have seen incredible responses to our virtual events and I’m looking forward to seeing you online at Data Citizens ‘20: A Digital Experience. We know there are a lot of virtual conferences taking place, so we’ve simplified our digital experience to allow you to enjoy sessions in real-time as they launch on June 3-4 or access them later at your own pace — on demand.

Here’s what you can expect as part of the digital experience:

Network and engage with fellow data citizens

A large part of Data Citizens events is providing an opportunity for you to meet like-minded professionals and share ideas. A key focus of our digital experience is to provide networking and engagement opportunities through the launch of a new, virtual Data Citizens community. This community will allow you to network with fellow attendees, participate in engaging conversations, and share your stories and best practices with other data citizens throughout the event.

Learn how others make data meaningful

On top of getting to know our community members, Data Citizens is about providing a platform to showcase the amazing work our customers and partners do within their own organizations. Working each day at Collibra, I am humbled by the critical importance data plays in our lives. Having the ability to collaborate across the organization to make fast decisions based on trusted data is no longer a luxury for many of you and I am proud of the work we’ve accomplished together.

Gain insights and learn best practices from data leaders

I’m looking forward to hearing insights and best practices from several data leaders across the world on topics including:

  • Driving digital transformation with real-time master data management and metadata governance with John Lieto, Director of Data Management at Wolters Kluwer
  • Refocusing your data governance program to continue to provide value during COVID-19 with John Lauer, Senior Information Technology Manager at Southwest Airlines
  • Enabling different levels of the organization through access to trusted data with Sara Rhoades, Collibra Project Manager and Data Architect and Darby Rosette, Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin
  • Driving success and mitigating risk through Data Intelligence with Gene Leganza, Vice President, Research Director at Forrester — Sneak peek: In mid-May, we’re debuting a report showcasing the state of data management maturity. Findings highlight the role data plays in organizations and how Data Intelligence helps businesses succeed.

Our community of data citizens means so much to us at Collibra. We’re here to help you navigate compliance, collaboration, privacy, operational efficiency and other data-driven needs in these unprecedented times. We’re here to support what comes next and how you succeed amidst uncertainty.

We invite you to register for Data Citizens ‘20: A Digital Experience. You will find the agenda and speakers pages on DataCitizens.com.

Sincerely,

Fleur Sohtz
