Business Semantics Studio

The Business Semantics Studio is an Eclipse-based tool suite that enables IT professionals to tie meaningful business context to the technical models, (legacy) data sources and existing applications or web-services.

It provides modeling functionality to extract semantic patterns from a business context. It also provides mapping functionality to commit existing data sources and applications onto these semantic patterns, in a way that is both very simple and very powerful.

Fact-based modeling of your business semantics

Fact types are formulated in concepts playing roles with each other. This increases readability and reduces the number of concepts. Your Business Semantics are easier to understand and require less maintenance.

Full support for controlled natural language

Ω-RIDL is a machine processable language that is understandable both for business and IT. Potential disasters due to miscommunications are discovered early.

Graphical and textual support

Create your business semantics both graphically or textually. This makes the entry barrier lower for new users, while still fulfilling the needs of the power user.

Advanced reuse algorithms

Do not repeat yourself! Reuse the Business Semantics that already exist, suggested to you while you type. Work faster and learn from others.

Drag and drop semantics

Drag and drop is a universal concept in graphical user interfaces. It allows you to work rapidly and naturally.

Code completion and syntax checking

Syntax checking and code completion let you work quicker and more efficiently. You do not need to know everything by heart and mistakes are shown immediately.

Built on Eclipse technology

Eclipse is a tested and proven IDE used by a large community that provides support for plugins. Customize your Business Semantics Studio with the plugins of your choice.
