Dear data professional,

Thank you for taking your time to visit this survey on information governance. Information governance is the practice of determining decision rights and responsibilities in terms of information assets within a company. An information asset is a set of information related to a concept, like ‘customer’ or ‘product’. Traditionally, executives consider information an IT responsibility as they provide the data infrastructure for the company. However, there is an emerging awareness that information is an important asset company-wide and that responsibility of information assets should be distributed according to which information is important to which employees.

Even if a company is not familiar with the term “information governance”, it may already be consciously taking steps towards distributing the decision rights for information assets.

The survey contains two pages; one is an introduction page with a set of general questions, and one is a follow-up page with questions tailored to your job function. The survey takes between 5 and 15 minutes to complete.

We would like to thank you for your cooperation. If you want to stay up-to-date about the survey results, you will have the opportunity to provide your e-mail address at the end of the survey.
