    Collibra, an enterprise software start-up focusing on data governance and semantic integration, has been selected to participate at the Semi-finals of the European Venture Content in Reims, March 3th.

    The European Venture Contest (EVC) finds, evaluates and awards world-class innovative companies with the potential to dramatically impact their industry and contribute to increasing European competitiveness and growth. The EVC counted with 6 semi-finals across Europe during 2009, from which the top 25 companies compete in the final for a €90,000 prize.

    Collibra has been selected as one of the 20 finalist out of a total of 116 competing start-ups for the Plugg Start-Ups Rally 2010.

    Plugg is a one-day conference with a clear focus on celebrating entrepreneurship and innovation in Europe and raising global awareness for those European start-ups in the Web / Mobile 2.0 field that stand out in the crop.

    Plugg aims to provide a hands-on view on what's happening in Europe, what the continent's (dis)advantages are compared to other regions and what the future will hold for its digital industry.
